A Discussion with Dr. David R. Williams
Dr. David R. Williams is the Norman Professor of Public Health and Professor of African and African American Studies at Harvard University. As one of the world’s foremost experts on health disparities, his research has advanced our understanding of how race, socioeconomic status, racism, stress, health behaviors, and religious involvement impact physical and mental health.
He has authored over 600 scholarly papers and is known for developing the widely used Everyday Discrimination scale. He has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Most Cited Researchers in the Social Sciences and ranked as one of the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds.
This event will honor community leaders, recognize corporate partners, and provide a platform for driving meaningful change.
