Baden Street Settlement of Rochester, Inc. is the first community-based organization in Western New York to open a state-of-the-art SUNY ATTAIN lab. The advanced technology lab brings computer technology directly into the community – to individuals who would not otherwise have access to high-quality computers and software. The Baden Street ATTAIN lab focuses on providing computer-based academic and employability training, thus enabling unemployed/under employed adolescents and adults to develop the foundational academic, occupational, and technical skills necessary in today’s workplace.  The jewel of ATTAIN is the availability of Microsoft training and testing towards obtaining IT Industry recognized certifications.

The Baden Street ATTAIN Lab is a vital tool in assisting our community of learners to become self-sufficient and gain economic independence.  Baden ATTAIN is among a network of 30+ computer training facilities across New York State maintained by The State University of New York University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD), through funding support from the New York State Legislature.  The project promotes digital parity in Rochester and economically challenged communities state-wide.
